Schindler's new Visitor Center in Ebikon. Exhibition on 4 floors. 8 unique large-scale installations. Numerous other stations. Full Service: conceived, designed, and engineered by iart
The building on the Schindler Campus in Ebikon was designed by the architects Burckhardt+Partner. Extending over four floors, and a total of 2000 m2, the building is glazed on three sides, making escalators and lifts visible from the outside. These not only serve to move visitors, but are also a key element of the scenography: while in motion, the surrounding landscape becomes a cinematic vista. This is precisely the “feel” of the Visitor Center’s wide variety of exhibits, a sense of movement from you and the installations around you. The result is a balletic interplay of people and technology: a model for future mobility.

The interactive
book on Paul Gauguin has been awarded a Merit Award 2016 in the category 'Interactive
Experience' by the
Society of Experiental Graphic Design (SEGD).
Graphic Design Award 'Essence'
The interactive
book for Paul
Gauguin exception was honoured twice at the Graphic Design
Award
'Essence'.
The Essence Award is awarded once a year by the industry association SGV Schweizer Grafiker Verband and seeks to 'extract' the essence of contemporary Swiss Graphic Design.
iart was awarded with the Swiss ICT Award 2014 (the Swiss "Oscar of the ICT industry") for the
project MegaFaces.
MegaFaces
was awarded the Innovation Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2014.
Innovation jury president Tom Bedecarré described the MegaFaces Pavilion as 'indicative of a trend we saw among the entries of the blurring between digital and real experiences — the blurring between marketing communication as an experience and marketing communications becoming a service or technology.'
